Idea is among the largest telecom operators in India, and hence it’s essential to activate DND on Idea mobile number. Do Not Disturb (DND) is a service offered by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and is applicable for all operators and not just Idea.
With DND service, you can avoid getting unwanted telemarketing calls or SMS on your number. You can register your telephone number in Idea’s Do Not Disturb registry. Once you activate the DND service on your number, Idea will block all the promotional calls and SMS from 140. DND service is free for everyone.
TRAI has classified all sectors into eight different categories. You can block any specific type if you want.
